Compact Disc (CD) + Digital Album
Finally released in 2017 - "The Decliners get Totally Kickd" is The Decliners tribute to friend and mentor, Eugene's own Captin Kickd.
While the recording process of The Decliners 2015 release, the dark, experimental "Let Me Be" continued for months and months, The Decliners alternately got back to their roots, re-learning and playing songs from long ago written by or with Captin Kickd who figured prominently in the early musical development of both Nolan and Dee Dee and looms large in Decliners lore. The Captin's music today is far too complicated for most, but the early music re-recorded and arranged here by The Decliners touches on Punk, Surf, Garage and Prog and these raw sessions find the band blowing off steam on personal favorites.
From the liner notes - "recorded in 2013-2014 in one take live with one room mic, warts and all, bad starts, stops, hiss, clams and pops included".
From the Eugene Register Guard Show Preview - "8 or 10 songs of pure filth and poor judgement, recorded poorly and in a hurry, but mixed and mastered beautifully"

"Oh Captin, High Captin
He’s sailing the seas of cyanescens,
an the ice beer’s a’ flowin’;
he’s tearin’ at his guitar,
he’s rippin’ it wide open.
The flailin’ and the screamin’,
the Scandinavian storms,
from Terry an the cocaine
with the scurvy an some porn.
Pilotin’ the Smut Mobile
to where the future leads,
the Captin laughs an blesses us,
then he twists an bends,
and bleeds.
He knows that every blackout
has emerald flashes
at the ends."
